Chris Williams
Director of Music Ministries

Chris first began church music work at age 15. He served as pianist and organist at many churches since then, culminating in his position as Music Director at Kingdom UMC, where he has served since 1998. Chris’ church experience includes: Rejoice Fellowship Church, Austin, TX; Faith Presbyterian Church, Houston, TX; and Wesley United Methodist Church, San Antonio, TX.

Chris received his bachelor’s degree in piano from the University of North Texas, then continued his graduate work there serving as a Teaching Fellow. Since leaving UNT, Chris has been performing and arranging, eventually working as the arranger for WoW Productions where he arranged, scored and produced music for the Warner Bros. theme parks. Following that, he was in charge of MIDI production for ISong (a Hal Leonard company) and produced more than 15 interactive CD titles.

Chris and his wife Rachel have 2 girls, Christina and Ruth; and 2 cats, Jacob and Esau. In addition to spending time with his family, Chris enjoys brewing beer and bicycling.
